An exciting collaboration with a fellow young talented Antiguan woman has been made official!
Chanelle C Smith has come on board to be the Official Designer of the Face of Saj Fall Glam Photo Shoot featuring our Winning Model with a custom creation in-keeping with the new trends of Fall '09.
Her recent success with her original Flag Couture line features gorgeous pieces made of the Flags of the Caribbean give us an early idea of what to expect from her and her upcoming lines...... Pure.Fab!

About Chanelle:
"Head designer and co-founder of Chanelle C. Smith clothing line. I grew up on the Caribbean island of Antigua and moved to the United States at the age of 16 to pursue my love of fashion. I have since then attained degrees in both Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising. I have an eclectic style but always stay true to my Caribbean roots. I hope to one day be a well known designer and most of all, have my designs grace the runway at the biggest fashion shows in the world.
As mentioned, my style is extremely eclectic, combining bold and funky with street and chic. My designs aren’t for the shy introverts, but for the daring individual who aren’t afraid to take fashion risks and make bold statements.
I have a passion and burning love for fashion and I hope to share that with the world ;)

Face of Saj: Fall Glam Model Search
While on my end preparations are in full swing, getting that FAB makeup prize for the lucky winner, wardrobe, set location all the fun works :) Lets talk about what YOU can expect.
Prepare to present your self to the panel for the first round of the model search. Be sure to follow guidelines listed on the application form and this blog ( dress, accessories etc.).
Every model will have quick polaroids taken of them for review for the second round.
Everyone also has the opportunity to be added to the official Model Database (details coming soon) for other modeling jobs and castings etc which is and excellent opportunity to further your modeling career.
I've been asked if I am looking for the regular skinny model and the answer is no. I am looking for a stunning unique face, gorgeous features, healthy skin, great body NO MATTER THE SIZE whether you are thick, thin or in-between. Just be FIERCE!!!
Round Two!!
Five finalists will be chosen from the initial casting and will be called back for a full photo shoot. Wardrobe, hair, makeup, accessories the works! This is your opportunity to show how that gorgeous face photographs!
So start practicing "Smiling with your Eyes" ;)
